Any sites that report that BioWare is working on Command & Conquer: Generals 2 without providing context for what “BioWare are working on Command & Conquer: Generals 2” actually means is going on my shitlist.

I’m taking a firm motherfucking stand on this one. If the names “BioWare Victory” and “Victory Games” don’t both appear in your coverage, then do me a favour and call yourself a shit-eating douche canoe. It’ll save me the trouble later on.

I’m super excited that C&C Generals is a property that anyone feels comfortable resurrecting. My bet is long before the game arrives the “2” will magically disappear. I doubt the first conflict between the GLA, USA and China had enough of a following for it to remain; I can see this being spun off into a new franchise. The game could even just be “Generals”.

Man I wish it was set in the Tiberian Sun universe (but not like Tiberian Twilight or C&C 3). Or the Allies Revenge one. Right? Right?
